#BookBlogWriMo Day 13 – My Review Process

So here’s is my review process for Day 13 of #BookBlogWriMo!

I talked about this earlier in this post so I’ll just go a little bit more in-depth on my process I guess? But do check that post out if you want a more overall view of what I do.

After I finish a book, I usually start process it in my head first. Organize my thoughts and let it all sink in. Sometimes, it takes me a moment before I actually can say what I feel about it. that was the case with Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell (reviewed here), I didn’t understand how much I loved it until a week later. On other occasions, I might not be able to really voice my opinions because I’m so shooked. Two examples of said occasion are Allegiant by Veronica Roth and We Were Liars by E. Lockhart (reviewed here).

When I’ve processed the book throughly, I start drafting a review. Usually, during this part, I’d have 10 different tabs open, in addition to the tab where I’m writing a post; Goodreads, review #1, review #2, review #3, YouTube review #1, YouTube review #2, YouTube review #3, author’s blog, some random tab relative to the book I’m reviewing.

So when I’m done with drafting and editing and everything, I look through it once or two more times, check the preview, and if I’m happy, I start filling in the tags, categories, etc. And then, I click on the lovely publish button.

Well, that’s all. It wasn’t that much to write about. Sorry! But I hope you liked this post nevertheless!
